Albert Robinson, III, MD, Associate Professor of Anesthesiology, has taken the helm as President of the College of Medicine Faculty Council after serving as President-Elect this past year.
Sonia Deshmukh Mehta, MD, Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology, is embarking on the second year of her term as Vice President. Matthew Andoniadis, MD, Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology, is also in the second year of his two-year term as the Department of Anesthesiology’s representative on the council.
The Faculty Council serves as a forum for shared governance and mutual exchange of ideas between senior officers of the College and the Faculty.
Some initiatives that the council has worked on over the past year include a faculty lounge to encourage engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration as well as faculty wellness.
