Objectives

  • Work with the department to plan recruitment “meet and greets” (virtual or in-person)
  • Coordinate and facilitate resident involvement in virtual recruitment activities
  • Assist in media productions related to recruitment
  • Work with education office staff to plan interview day and serve as resident of the day for interview day
  • Assist in interviewing and assessing residency candidates
  • Attend and participate in the program’s resident applicant rank list sessions

  • Be involved in institutional quality and safety improvement initiatives
  • Be involved in the process of helping residents find quality improvement projects
  • Maximize patient safety and the delivery of quality healthcare in the Department of Anesthesiology, and throughout UF Health
  • Eliminate preventable harm, standardize the processes of care, provide evidence-based and efficient/cost-effective care, and perfect the patient experience
