Every year our anesthesiology interns go through a four-week rotation that is focused solely on didactics and simulations called Intern Education Month. The rotation also introduces the residents to available resources that can help them clinically and academically. Sprinkled throughout are wellness activities so that classmates can form closer relationships with one another.
From mid-January to mid-February, first-year residents took part in simulations, classroom sessions, shadowing and a wellness retreat at Lake Wauberg. Anesthesiology staff, faculty, fellows, residents and techs all worked hard to make the month a success.
