Adrian Ching

Yiu-Hei (Adrian) Ching, M.D., joined us in December as an assistant professor of anesthesiology in the Division of Multispecialty Anesthesiology. Before joining us, he worked as a clinical anesthesiologist for HCA Florida Ocala Hospital.

Dr. Ching earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He then completed an internship and residency in general surgery at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine before joining the University of Florida as a resident in anesthesiology in 2017.

Dr. Ching’s interests include understanding the nuances in anesthesiology and how to better tailor anesthetics to specific patients, pathologies and operations. “The opportunity to take care of patients in times of need and give back to others is what I value most in being a doctor and anesthesiologist,” he says. He is an author on 12 peer-reviewed publications.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, running and cycling.

Welcome, Dr. Ching!
