CT Fellowship Grads pass Advanced Perioperative TEE exam

Congratulations to the four recent graduates of our Cardiothoracic Fellowship program, Clifford Deerman, M.D., Brandon Duffin, D.O., Jayme Looper, M.D., and Shauna Schwartz, D.O., and our Cardiothoracic/Critical Care Medicine fellow, Ahmad Parniani, M.D., for successfully passing their Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography examination (Advanced PTEeXAM®)!

The examination of special competence, which is administered by the National Board of Echocardiography, allows physicians to test and demonstrate their knowledge of perioperative transesophageal echocardiography based on an objective standard. The certification is intended for full diagnostic use including direction of the perioperative surgical decision-making process.

Congratulations to the fellows and thanks to our faculty for their teaching and mentorship!
