Quality and Patient Safety Officer Stephanie Gore, RN, attended the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) National Forum with Professor Brenda Fahy, MD, MCCM, Assistant Professor Basma Mohamed, MBChB, and M500 Consultant Aislinn Skuropat.
The team brought two storyboards to showcase our department’s quality improvement work: Treatment of Intraoperative Hyperglycemia with Insulin: Our Journey to understanding and making Improvements and Evaluation of Anesthetic Management of Patients Presenting with Acute Ischemic Stroke.
The IHI National Forum on Quality Improvement in Health Care is a four-day conference that has been the home of quality improvement in health care for more than 30 years. The conference brings together health care visionaries, improvement professionals, world leaders and industry newcomers.
