The International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA) has selected “DisTeam: A decision support tool for surgical team selection” as one of the best articles published in 2017 in the Clinical Decision Support category of Medical Informatics.
The paper was authored by Patrick Tighe, MD, MS, and Lei Zhang, MS, from the Department of Anesthesiology, along with Parisa Rashidi, PhD, and Ashkan Ebadi, PhD, from the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
The IMIA publishes the annual IMIA Yearbook of Medical Informatics. The IMIA Yearbook of Medical Informatics is a non-profit project to advance the field of medical informatics and to stimulate dissemination and exchange of information between researchers and professionals of the health and biomedical informatics community at large.
