Dr. Doré has been awarded $35,000 in research grants by the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.
The grants will help fund the research for Dr. Doré’s paper, Is CO-releasing Molecule a Potent Tool for Attenuating Vasospasm and Providing Neuroprotection after Subarachnoid Hemorrhage?
The Brain Aneurysm Foundation has awarded $445,000 in research grants to 14 recipients whose work is impacting a disease that affects one in 50 people in the US. The Massachusetts-based foundation is a leader in brain aneurysm awareness, education, support, advocacy, and research funding. Their mission is to provide information and raise awareness about brain aneurysms; work with medical communities to provide support networks for patients and families; and advance research to improve outcomes and save lives.
The grant awards will be presented at the Brain Aneurysm Foundation’s Annual Symposium at the end of September.
