2025 Match Day results

We are thrilled to announce the results of the 2025 NRMP Match!

The University of Florida (UF) Department of Anesthesiology successfully matched with 20 interns (4-year residents), five CA-1s (3-year residents), and one “advanced commitment” physician who will begin training with us as a CA-1 in July 2026. Six of our incoming interns are from the UF College of Medicine.

These doctors come from a broad variety of backgrounds and medical schools and were among our top picks. The six graduates from our College of Medicine who are joining us are Mikayla Dorminey, Erica Matich, Omowonuola Ogundele, Will Philips, Ahmed Rashid, and Anson Wang.

This Match season, our department received 1,400 applications and interviewed more than 200 candidates for these positions. We are extremely grateful to all the residents, faculty, and administrative staff members who helped organize, facilitate, and conduct interviews and resident selection this year, especially our resident recruitment co-chairs, Meena Kanhai and Olesia Merinova, and the Anesthesiology Education Office staff.
