Congratulations to Tim Feldheim, M.D., and David Hutchinson, M.D., who have each been named assistant program directors in the department’s anesthesiology residency program.
Feldheim, assistant professor in the Divisions of Pain Medicine, Multispecialty Anesthesia, and Vascular Anesthesia, has been named assistant program director of Resident Wellbeing.
“It’s a huge honor to take on this role,” said Feldheim. “Having trained here myself, I take great pride in and care deeply about this program and its residents. I’m excited by the opportunity to work with our residents as well as with Dr. Martin, the other assistant program directors, and the Anesthesiology Education Office.”
Hutchinson, who is OPS faculty and a physician at the Malcom Randall Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, has been named assistant program director of Didactics & Resident Education.
“I am deeply honored to take on this new role within the Department of Anesthesiology,” said Hutchinson. “My area of focus will be resident education, which is a true passion of mine. Helping others achieve their full potential is the best and most rewarding part of my job. I look forward to working with each and every one of our residents and, together with the Anesthesiology Education Office, hope to be an asset to the residency program as a whole.”
Many thanks to both Dr. Feldheim and Dr. Hutchinson for taking on these new roles in the Department of Anesthesiology!
