Last weekend the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists held their annual meeting at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida.
50 abstracts were chosen to be displayed as posters during the conference and nine of these were selected for Poster of Distinction presentations. Seven out of those nine came from the University of Florida. These presentations were scored and the top three were given awards.
The first place Poster of Distinction was awarded to “Break Scrub to Take That Phone Call?” authored by Abigail Schirmer, BS, Courtney Swan, BS, Steven Hughes, MD, Terrie Vasilopoulos, PhD, Monika Oli, PhD, Sana Chaudhry, Nikolaus Gravenstein, MD, and Chris Giordano, MD. The poster was presented by third-year medical student Courtney Swan.
Congratulations to all whose posters were selected to be displayed at the conference!
