Dr. Adam Wendling was awarded a Faculty Enhancement Opportunity (FEO) Grant.
Dr. Wendling’s grant funded his participation in the Harvard Advanced Instructor Course in Medical Simulation. Dr. Wendling’s goals for this course were to more effectively engage and mentor junior faculty in refining their simulation skills, develop strategic ways to engage hospital and college leadership and faculty from other departments to dedicate time and resources to medical simulation, and provide a venue to mentor struggling medical team leaders to improve their skills and become more collaborative.
The FEO Task Force encourages applications for creative and flexible faculty development activities, including, but not limited to: educational experiences/conferences, work with consultants/experts, time devoted to intensive writing or creative work or activities in support of a new direction for one’s scholarly work.
