Blue Ridge Institute for Medical Research ranked the University of Florida Department of Anesthesiology as #27 in the country among all anesthesiology departments for NIH research funding in 2013. Our department moved from #33 to #27 in 3 years with very tough competition.
Our very own Dr. Sylvain Doré was ranked #30, which makes him one of the top research-funded anesthesiologists in the United States in 2013. The University of Florida College of Medicine ranked 45 of 139 U.S. medical schools for 2013.
