About Yosaf F Zeyed
My name is Yosaf Zeyed, M.D., M.S., and I joined the department of anesthesiology in 2022 with a focus on multispecialty anesthesiology. I received my master’s degree in clinical investigation at Vanderbilt University and my medical degree at Benghazi University of Medicine in Libya. I did my residency in anesthesiology as well as my fellowship in liver transplant anesthesia at the University of Miami.
I am now an assistant professor of anesthesiology at UF Health in Gainesville. I chose to pursue anesthesiology because I love helping people and providing them with the safest care during the most vulnerable state of sickness. I am a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists as well as the International Anesthesia Research Society. One of my clinical interests is airway management and I taught a course on the subject at West Virginia University in 2019 – 2021.
In my free time, I enjoy running and hiking. Hiking in the mountains of West Virginia was one of my favorite things to do when I lived there.
