About Ferenc Rabai
Dr. Rabai joined us in June 2017, as an Assistant Professor in Anesthesiology. He completed both his anesthesiology residency in 2016 and his fellowship in neuroanesthesiology in 2017 here at the University of Florida. He obtained his medical degree (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Debrecen in Hungary.
Dr. Rabai’s research interests include prediction of post-traumatic cerebral infarction in traumatic brain injury and the clinical utility of intraoperative neuromonitoring. Prior to pursuing a career in anesthesiology he completed core surgical training in the United Kingdom leading to membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2010. He worked as a staff grade surgeon in private practice for two years before coming to UF in 2012.
