About Pablo D Pizarro Rosario
My name is Pablo Pizarro Rosario, MD, and I am an assistant professor of anesthesiology in the UF Department of Anesthesiology in the Division of Critical Care Medicine.
Prior to joining the University of Florida, I served in the military for more than 30 years, most recently at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Virginia, where I served as a staff anesthesiologist and intensivist.
I joined the department in 2020. I earned my medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, where I also completed a residency in family practice. I completed my anesthesiology residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, followed by a fellowship in critical care medicine at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in Texas.
I’m a member of several anesthesiology and medical organizations, and have made several contributions to presentations and research, including on the multisensory armband for critically ill patients, acute adult supraglottitis, and acute abdominal conditions.
