About Nishanthi Kandiah

My name is Nishanthi Kandiah, MD, and I am an assistant professor in the UF Department of Anesthesiology. In 2023, I joined the department in the Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology. I earned my medical degree and completed my anesthesiology residency at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. I completed fellowships in pediatric anesthesiology and chronic pain at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and Boston Children’s Hospital.

Prior to joining the department, I was an assistant professor of anesthesiology at the University of Pittsburgh and a staff pediatric anesthesiologist at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
