John Dawson, MD

My name is John Dawson, M.D., and I am a part-time assistant professor in the Division of Critical Care Medicine in the University of Florida Department of Anesthesiology. I joined the faculty after completing my Critical Care Medicine Fellowship here in 2022.

I received my bachelor’s degree in molecular genetics from the University of Rochester in New York, graduating magna cum laude. I also earned my medical degree and did several academic fellowships at the University of Rochester. After medical school, I went on to do my anesthesiology residency at Albany Medical Center, where I was chief resident.
