About Kyle H Chan
My name is Kyle Chan, M.D., and I am an assistant professor in the UF Department of Anesthesiology’s Divisions of Liver Transplant and Multispecialty Anesthesiology. I became a doctor and specialized in anesthesiology to make a tangible, positive impact in my patients’ lives each and every day.
I earned my medical degree from the UF College of Medicine and recently completed my anesthesiology residency here with the department, where I was a chief resident. I received my Bachelor of Arts in public health and molecular & cellular biology from the University of California, Berkley.
My professional interests include liver transplant anesthesia and medical student and resident education. As a chief resident, I advocated for my peers and supported our residents’ educational journeys. In my CA-2 year, I was a part of the paired period team that piloted a new model for helping interns transition into the operating room.
