Echocardiogram Basic (Credit Hours: 20)
In this module you will learn the basic applications of cardiac ultrasound in the emergency setting. You will learn the standard views used, the locations of important structures to identify, as well as basic abnormalities seen in these views. By the end of the module you should be able to achieve the competencies listed including determination of global LV function, and assessment of pericardial effusions.
