Most recently, she was awarded the Outstanding Clinical Faculty Quality Award for her contributions to quality, safety, and patient experience at UF Health for her work on UF Health’s Enhanced Recovery After Surgery initiative.

We’d also like to extend our gratitude to Josh Sappenfield, M.D., for his dedicated leadership of the Presurgical Clinic and Division of Perioperative Medicine since 2016. During his tenure, Sappenfield guided the division through the challenges presented by the pandemic and implemented initiatives to streamline the preoperative evaluation process and ensure the safety of patients.
