The Anesthesiology Society is a 501(c3) organization that was formally established in 1984 by former chair of the University of Florida’s Department of Anesthesiology Dr. Nikolaus Gravenstein.
Our aim is to promote programs to further anesthesia education and research. We support education and research activities of faculty, residents, and fellows in the UF Department of Anesthesiology and those who have graduated from our Anesthesiology Residency Program.

Our Mission
The mission of the Anesthesiology Society is to bring UF Anesthesiology Alumni and friends together to network, socialize and share current trends in anesthesiology, as well as support the education, research and clinical mission of the UF Anesthesiology Department.
