This year, two faculty members in the University of Florida Department of Anesthesiology were inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honor medical society. Congratulations to Gregory Janelle, M.D., FASE, FASA, chair of the department and professor of anesthesiology and surgery, and Meghan Brennan, M.D., M.S., associate professor of anesthesiology and clinical director of research for the Division of Critical Care Medicine. Their leadership and professionalism earned them this distinguished recognition.
AOA champions medical education, humanism, and excellence in teaching and community service. As lifelong AOA members, Janelle and Brennan will further enrich our anesthesiology community. They were both honored at a banquet on March 19.
