Chief residents selected for national honor medical society

Chief residents: Chan, Tragesser, and Creech.

All 3 of the UF Department of Anesthesiology’s FY26 chief residents have been selected for induction to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honor medical society. Congratulations to Kyle Chan, M.D., Kellen Creech, D.O., and Ally Tragesser, M.D., for this remarkable honor. They were recognized for their high educational achievement and professionalism.

The AOA is dedicated to encouraging the development of leaders in academia and the community, honoring gifted teaching, supporting the ideals of humanism, and promoting service to others. It also places an importance on character and knowledge in the practice of medicine.

As chief residents, Chan, Creech, and Tragesser have made it their mission to advocate for their peers, support residents’ educational journey, and promote wellness and camaraderie. Throughout their term, they embodied AOA’s mission and values, relating to leadership and scholarship.

Chan, Creech, and Tragesser will be honored at an upcoming banquet as new lifetime members on March 19, 2026.

Congratulations, Drs. Chan, Creech, and Tragesser!
