Josh Sappenfield, M.D, associate professor of anesthesiology, was chosen by our residents as the July 2025 Faculty Educator of the Month!
Dr. Sappenfield’s nominations pointed out that his lectures are well-organized and easily digestible. One nomination said he “does a great job making complex concepts easier to understand.” Another resident said his “organized lectures and articles provide helpful education on a busy rotation.” The residents also highlighted his enthusiasm and commitment he shows during work. One says he is “dedicated to making constant improvements to the transplant rotation.” He is also “always enthusiastic and a true pleasure to work with.”
