Spencer Moreland, M.D., assistant professor of anesthesiology in the Division of Critical Care Medicine, was chosen by our residents as the February 2025 Faculty Educator of the Month.
Resident nominations highlighted Moreland’s skill at educating while managing very sick patients in the ICU. They also noted his positive attitude, compassion in dealing with family members during difficult times, and their desire to work with him more in the future. One of his nominations said: “Dr. Moreland provided multiple helpful lectures while covering the ICU and is a great example of what a compassionate physician should be!”
