Timothy W. Martin, M.D., MBA, FASA, associate chair for education, chief of the Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology, and professor of anesthesiology and pediatrics, was recognized as a 2024 Outstanding Reviewer for the Journal of Graduate Medical Education (JGME).
“High-quality peer review is a vital component of academic scholarship,” said Gail Sullivan, M.D., editor-in-chief for the JGME, to Martin in a letter. “We know that the review process entails a significant commitment of time and energy, and we are indebted to you for this contribution.”
Editors for the JGME who manage the peer review process consider the number of papers reviewed in the past year as well as the reviewer ratings on those papers when determining outstanding reviewers.
