We’re always grateful to faculty for their willingness to share their insight and experiences as members of this department. Here, we look back at some of those stories.
In March, we spoke with Andrey Suprun, M.D., about his time as a fellow in our Regional Anesthesiology & Acute Pain Medicine Program and his decision to join us as faculty.
Suprun is an assistant professor in the Division of Acute Pain Medicine.
Also in March, we spoke with Chris Giordano, M.D., about his experience as president of the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists.
Giordano is a professor of anesthesiology and is the director of our Anesthesiology/Critical Care Clerkship.
In October, Olga “Kiki” Nin chatted with us about her career in the Division of Acute Pain Medicine and as medical director of UF Health’s Florida Surgical Center and UF Health Surgical Center—The Oaks.
Nin is a clinical professor of anesthesiology and is the assistant chair for clinical services.
Just this month, we spoke with Laurie Davies, M.D., about her long and successful career here in the Department of Anesthesiology.
Davies is a professor of anesthesiology, a joint professor of surgery, an affiliate professor of obstetrics and gynecology, and is medical director of UF Health Shands Hospital’s operating rooms.
