Benjamin Chapin, M.D., named co-chair of ADS research committee

Congratulations to Benjamin Chapin, M.D., on being named co-chair of the American Delirium Society (ADS) Research Committee. Chapin, a cognitive-behavioral neurologist, joined the department as an assistant professor in 2023. As part of the University of Florida’s Perioperative Cognitive Anesthesia Network (PeCAN), he works with patients who have experienced postoperative delirium.

As co-chair of the ADS Research Committee, Chapin will be responsible for leading the committee in making recommendations to society leadership regarding its strategic research agenda, enhancing conference content, and helping junior faculty match with senior researchers for mentorship and guidance.
