Congratulations to Tatsiana Kryvitskaya, M.D., one of the department’s cardiothoracic anesthesiology fellows, on successfully completing the Diagnostic POCUS Certificate from the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA).
The Diagnostic POCUS Certificate program is focused on developing skills in diagnostic ultrasound of organ systems identified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education as core competencies for practicing anesthesiologists.
The ASA’s Diagnostic POCUS Certificate Program first launched in 2021. Yong G. Peng, M.D., Ph.D., FASE, FASA, professor of anesthesiology and chief of the Division of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia, was the first member of our department to receive the certification and has since acted as an institutional POCUS mentor.
Congratulations, Dr. Kryvitskaya!
