Faculty, residents, and staff from the Department of Anesthesiology had a great weekend at the Florida Society of Anesthesiologists (FSA) Annual Meeting held June 7-9, 2024 at The Breakers in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The department contributed eight posters and four podium presentations to the event, and Department of Anesthesiology faculty moderated or spoke on six panels.
The FSA Annual Meeting is the largest gathering of anesthesiologists in the southeastern United States.
Fourth-year resident Kelley Martin, M.D., received a Poster of Distinction Award for her podium session, titled, “Impact of enhanced recovery after surgery on outcomes in cystectomy for bladder cancer: a retrospective analysis.”
