Department of Anesthesiology residents complete leadership development course

Tatsiana Kryvitskaya, M.D., CA-3, and Olesia Merinova, M.D., CA-2, recently completed a one-year intensive leadership development program offered for housestaff in the University of Florida College of Medicine.

Coaching for Leadership Development (C4LD) is a program designed to teach fellows and senior residents leadership skills including communication, team dynamics, and conflict management.

Kryvitskaya said the course has helped her to better understand leadership styles, to communicate with different personality types and give constructive feedback, and to handle difficult conversations.

“I would highly recommend the program to all residents who are interested in leadership and improving their communication skills,” she said.

Congratulations, Dr. Kryvitskaya and Dr. Merinova!
