Emeritus Professor André Boezaart, M.D., Ph.D., earns FASRA designation

The American Society of Regional Anesthesia (ASRA) and Pain Medicine Board of Directors welcomed André Boezaart, M.D, Ph.D., emeritus professor of anesthesiology, as a Fellow of the Society in March 2024. The Fellow of ASRA Pain Medicine (FASRA) recognizes the contributions of prominent members in the field, acknowledges those dedicated to the society, and promotes continued service to ASRA Pain Medicine and the specialty.

“We are excited to recognize your enduring contributions to the field with the ASRA Pain Medicine family and are extremely proud to have you as a member recipient of this group,” wrote Stuart Grant, M.B., Ch.B., FRCA, chair of the FASRA Committee, in an email to Boezaart.

New fellows are formally recognized during the Excellence in ASRA Pain Medicine Awards Luncheon at either the 49th Annual Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine meeting in March or the 23rd Annual Pain Medicine meeting in November.
