We’re pleased to congratulate Andrey Suprun, M.D., and David Hutchinson, M.D., on being issued a patent for their new technology, “Intravenous Tubing Venting Assembly.”
The patent describes a method and intravenous tubing apparatus which provides air bubbles with a venting path that does not permit fluid passage.
Suprun is currently a fellow in our Regional Anesthesiology & Acute Pain Medicine Fellowship Program, and will be joining us in the fall as an assistant professor in the Division of Acute Pain Medicine. Hutchinson is a physician at the Malcom Randall Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center and joined us last year as OPS faculty. Both are former Department of Anesthesiology residents, and both have served as chief residents.
Congratulations, Doctors Suprun and Hutchinson!
