2023-2024 Chief Residents Selected

We are pleased to announce our four new chief anesthesiology residents for the upcoming academic year. Tony Barrios, M.D., Jennifer Bromwell, D.O., Paul Campbell, M.D., and Tatsiana Kryvitskaya, M.D., will serve from April 1, 2023, through March 31, 2024.

“We are very fortunate to have this group of very talented and enthusiastic resident physicians prepared and willing to take on this important role and all its associated duties and responsibilities,” said professor and associate chair for education Tim Martin, M.D.

Doctors Campbell, Kryvitskaya, Bromwell and Barrios

To be selected, anesthesiology residents in their third year must demonstrate leadership ability, good academic standing, and be models of the best standards of professionalism. They must prove themselves to be organized, dependable, a good team player, a proven communicator, willing to make and implement tough and/or potentially unpopular decisions, as well as demonstrate a willingness to take on the responsibility and honor of being a chief resident. They are voted on by their fellow residents and faculty and the top three are selected as chiefs.

Please join us in congratulating Drs. Barrios, Bromwell, Campbell and Kryvitskaya as our new chief residents!

We would also like to acknowledge our three remarkable outgoing chief residents, who have consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership through their tenure. Many thanks to Shahrukh Bengali, M.D., Bryan Stevens, M.D., and Andrey Suprun, M.D.!
