We are excited to announce that Tim Morey, M.D., our department chair for the past ten years, has been named chief medical officer for UF Health Shands and senior associate dean for clinical affairs for the UF College of Medicine.
Since 2013, Dr. Morey has served as chair of the department of anesthesiology, where he has modernized operations to better meet the needs of patients, students, residents, fellows, staff and faculty.
“The number and quality of the department’s accomplishments over the past ten years is due to the passion and devotion of our team members to better care for our patients and one another,” Dr. Morey said.
