Peter Nguyen, M.D., & Francis T. Pham, M.D., Join Halifax Health

Peter Nguyen

Peter Nguyen, M.D., joined us on Aug. 2 as a UF Health physician for the regional anesthesia programs at Halifax Health. He comes to us from C.A.S.E. Medical Group in Sacramento, CA, where he worked as an anesthesiologist for two years.

Dr. Nguyen completed his anesthesiology residency with the UF Department of Anesthesiology in 2020 and he earned his medical degree at the University of California. He is currently a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy Reserve, Medical Corps. Prior to going to college, Dr. Nguyen served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years, including three tours in Iraq. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal in 2005 and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with Combat Valor “V” in 2004. 


Francis Pham

Francis T. Pham, M.D., also joined us on Aug. 2 as a UF Health physician for the regional anesthesia programs at Halifax Health. He comes to us from the Orlando VA Medical Center where he worked as an anesthesiologist for five years.

Dr. Pham completed his anesthesiology residency at George Washington University in 2004 and earned his medical degree at the University of Kansas in 2000. Dr. Pham has medical licenses in Florida, Georgia, California, and Virginia.
