2022 Regional Anesthesiology & Acute Pain Medicine Fellows Join the Department

Six physicians began their Regional Anesthesiology & Acute Pain Medicine Fellowship with us this summer. Please help us welcome them to the team!

Sean Beplate

Sean Beplate, M.D.

Dr. Beplate earned his medical degree at the Trinity School of Medicine and completed an anesthesiology residency at Cook County Health & Hospitals System. Dr. Beplate is interested in mentoring and served on the Anesthesiology Mentoring Program during his residency as well as the Clinical Clerkship Mentoring Program in medical school.


Krupesh Dave

Krupesh Dave, M.D.

Dr. Dave earned his medical degree from the University of South Carolina and completed his anesthesiology residency here at the University of Florida. Dr. Dave received an Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) certificate in Quality, Patient Safety, and Leadership and has served on the Housestaff Quality and Patient Safety Committee as well as the Anesthesia Patient Improvement Committee throughout his residency.


Tyler Fong

Tyler Fong, M.D.

Dr. Fong earned his medical degree from St. George’s University and completed an anesthesiology residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center where he served as chief resident. Before going to medical school, Dr. Fong worked as an emergency medical technician in California. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the outdoors and traveling.


Shadi Messiah

Shadi Messiah, M.D.

Dr. Messiah earned his medical degree from Saint James School of Medicine and completed his anesthesiology residency at the University of Illinois. Dr. Messiah has an interest in research and worked as a research assistant during undergrad and med school. In his free time, he enjoys scuba diving – he has both recreational and professional certifications, cars, sports and music.



Jayike Nwokolo

Jayike Nwokolo, M.D.

Dr. Nwokolo earned his medical degree and completed his anesthesiology residency here at the University of Florida. He was recognized by the American Board of Anesthesiology for scoring in the top 10th percentile on the BASIC exam.


Nicole Premo

Nicole Premo, M.D.

Dr. Premo earned her medical degree from Creighton University and completed her anesthesiology residency here at the University of Florida where she served as chief resident. During her residency, Dr. Premo developed the Resident Big-Little Mentorship Program and served on the Recruitment Committee. In her free time, she enjoys craft beer, traveling and spending time with her puppy and husband.
