Laurie Davies, M.D., associate professor of anesthesiology, was recently honored for 30 years of service as a full examiner for the American Board of Anesthesiology.
She has served as a full examiner from 1992 to 2022 and was recognized at the end of a recent Applied Examination week this spring. Examiners are responsible for administering the Standardized Oral Examination (SOE) and Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) components of the APPLIED Examination at the ABA Assessment Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Davies also serves as medical director of the UF Health Shands operating rooms. This recognition reflects her strong commitment to education and excellence in training. Congratulations, Dr. Davies!
