Many thanks to all who contributed to 2022’s Intern Education Month!

2-0-2-2 interns during Intern Education Month

Friday, February 11, 2022, was the last day of our Intern Education Month rotation and we are happy to report that this year was another great success!

Intern Education Month is a four-week rotation that is focused solely on didactics and simulations and provides diverse exposure to available resources to help residents clinically and academically. It is also a time for wellness and bonding with classmates.

Our interns took part in simulations, classroom sessions, shadowing in the operating room and other services such as the VA and the pain clinic, and a wellness retreat at Lake Wauburg.

Our anesthesiology staff, faculty, fellows, residents, and techs worked hard to make the month a huge success, while juggling the challenges and logistical hurdles posed by COVID-19.

We extend our gratitude to the following people. All of these individuals helped to make this rotation successful and deserve to be recognized for giving their time, effort, and expertise to this project!
