We are pleased to announce that Brandon Peckham, M.H.A., has been named Interim Director of the Department of Anesthesiology. Brandon is an accomplished health care professional with nearly 10 years of experience in data analytics, contracts, and process improvement. He will apply his broad knowledge of the clinical, financial, and reporting aspects of our department to strengthen our financial and administration functions.
Prior to this, Brandon served as Associate Director of Healthcare Administration, a position in which he was responsible for the department’s clinical operations budget and revenue cycle analytics. He also managed the department’s internal consulting group and served as interim Practice Manager for the Division of Pain Medicine.
Brandon has played an integral role in developing local and regional business strategies and projecting the department’s clinical staffing needs. He has also played a key role in developing and using data to advocate for departmental needs and assisted other departments in strategizing efficient ways to use anesthesia services.
Brandon earned his Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Health Administration degrees from the University of Florida. He joined the Department of Anesthesiology in 2017 as an Administrative Fellow. Before joining the department, Brandon held roles in Supply Chain Services and Managed Care at UF Health.
