Doximity Results: UF Anesthesiology Residency Program Ranks #4 for Reputation in South

The University of Florida Department of Anesthesiology residency program is ranked fourth for reputation among anesthesiology residency programs in the South and 23rd in the United States, according to Doximity’s 2021-22 Residency Navigator.

UF’s anesthesiology program is also ranked second in the South for research output and 20th nationally.

Doximity is a networking platform for medical professionals that collects peer nominations, ratings, and reviews each year for the Residency Navigator, a comprehensive database of U.S. residency programs.

The UF anesthesiology residency consistently ranks among the nation’s elite programs and the new rankings reflect the department’s ongoing commitment to excellence in training.

In other metrics, UF’s anesthesiology residency scored in the 86th percentile for alumni publications, which was calculated from a combination of the collective h-index of publications authored by program alumni. The program was in the 72nd percentile for alumni clinical trials, which was calculated from clinical trial and grant data derived from Doximity profiles of alumni who graduated within the past 15 years.

UF’s program also scored excellently in alumni satisfaction, with high scores in overall satisfaction, work hours, schedule flexibility, career guidance, culture, and clinical diversity.
