Dr. Reynolds discusses role of IACUC in research quality in new commentary

A report released in June 2021 by the National Institutes of Health Advisory Committee provides five major recommendations for improving research quality. In a new commentary published in the journal Lab Animal, Penny Reynolds, Ph.D., describes how the IACUC can play a key role in maintaining high standards in research by ensuring that statistically based reproducibility criteria are adequately addressed in animal use protocols.

Reynolds is an assistant professor of anesthesiology who is a member of the STatistics in Anesthesiology Research Core (STAR Core) team.
