Dr. Robinson recognized for outstanding leadership as president of UF College of Medicine Faculty Council

Congratulations to Albert R. Robinson III, M.D., associate professor of anesthesiology, on completion of his term as 2020-2021 president of the UF College of Medicine Faculty Council! He will now serve as past president for one year and received a plaque in recognition of his outstanding leadership and service.

Highlights of his term include the opening of a new college faculty lounge, revival of the faculty wellness task force, and increased engagement in diversity initiatives, as well as ongoing engagement in the college chair evaluations and compensation plan development.

Ashley Ghiaseddin, M.D., a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Neurosurgery, received the gavel as 2021-2022 president at the June Faculty Council meeting. Sonia Mehta, M.D., assistant professor of anesthesiology, will continue to serve as the Faculty Council Vice President through spring 2022. The Department of Anesthesiology’s representative through spring 2022 is Matthew Andoniadis, M.D., assistant professor of anesthesiology.
