Welcome New Managers of Healthcare Administration

Rishab Chimmanamada

Rishab Chimmanamada, M.H.A., joined us on May 28 as the Manager of Health Care Administration at Central Florida Health. Rishab earned his Master of Health Administration degree from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in May 2021. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Baylor University.

Since March 2020, Rishab has been serving as an Administrative Resident at New Orleans East Hospital. As the hospital’s lead supervisor for mobile COVID-19 testing, he supervised over 20 community clinics throughout the Greater New Orleans area and managed a variety of clinical and administrative staff. He also worked closely with the Louisiana Department of Health to secure grants for the clinics and ensured that mobile staff met targets for reimbursement.

He has also held several on-campus leadership roles with health care organizations, including the Tulane chapter of the National Association of Health Service Executives. In his free time, Rishab enjoys reading, running, and watching Premier League soccer.


Julie Veal

Julie Veal, M.S., joined us on May 14 as Manager of Health Care Administration at UF Health Halifax. Julie is returning to our department after nearly a decade of outstanding work in the Education Office, most recently as Assistant Director for Education and Training Programs from 2015 to 2020. Since November 2020, Julie has been an Administrative Coordinator with the Mosquito Control Division for the County of Volusia Public Works Department.

Julie has a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science and a Master of Science degree in agriculture from the University of Georgia. She also holds a Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education certification. She has organized numerous conferences and symposia throughout her career and developed several online courses. In her free time, Julie enjoys paddle boarding, walking on the beach, cooking, and watching baseball.
