Congratulations to Terrie Vasilopoulos, Ph.D., who has been elected to serve as secretary/treasurer for the Statistical Consulting Section of the American Statistical Association (ASA) for 2022-2023!
The Statistical Consulting Section of the ASA represents all ASA members involved in the practice of statistics. One of the section’s major goals is to foster a community of statistical practitioners across a diverse set of disciplines. The mission is to foster a community with diverse viewpoints; encourage collaboration; facilitate career development, mentorship, and sponsorship; and provide an array of resources and forums to exchange ideas.
Vasilopoulos, an assistant professor in the Departments of Anesthesiology and Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, has been a member of the American Statistical Association since 2014. She is a member of the STatistics in Anesthesiology Research Core (STAR Core).
