Tammy Bleeker, M.Ed., joined us on April 5, 2021, as Assistant Director for Education and Training Programs. In this position, Tammy will oversee the operations of the Education Office.
Tammy comes to us from the Department of Pediatrics in the UF College of Medicine, where she has worked for the past eight years. For the past four years, she has served as Assistant Director for Education and Training in the department’s Office of Medical Education. Prior to that, she served as Pediatric Medical Education Manager.
Tammy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Human Resources from St. Leo University. She received a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on educational technology from the University of Florida. Tammy has more than 20 years of experience in medical education, regulatory compliance, benefits administration, recruiting, training and development, and event management.
In her free time, Tammy enjoys spending time with her family. Tammy also likes camping and traveling and recently joined her church’s handbell choir. We are excited to have her joining us, and we ask you to help us welcome her to the department!
