Andrea Macias Mendoza, MD, joined us on Aug. 3, 2020, as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Multispecialty Anesthesiology.
She earned her medical degree from New York Medical College; she completed her Anesthesiology Residency this year at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey.
She is a member of several anesthesiology and medical organizations, and she has made several contributions to presentations and papers, including on thoracic surgery and emergency intubation in the operating room due to Ludwig’s angina.
In her free time, she enjoys baking, traveling, exercising, and spending time with her husband and dog. She is also passionate about animals; she cofounded a nonprofit dog rescue along with her husband this year.
