Five anesthesiologists and two emergency medicine physicians began their Critical Care Medicine Fellowship with us this summer. Please help us welcome them to the team!

Jacqueline Boehme

Jacqueline Boehme, MD

Medical Education: Harvard Medical School

Dr. Boehme has a passion for the arts and especially loves music and performance. She was a singer in college at the University of Central Florida and at Harvard Medical School.


John Bruno

John Bruno, MD

Residency Specialty: Emergency Medicine

Residency Institution: St. Luke’s University Health Network

Medical Education: Temple University

Outside of medicine, Dr. Bruno’s hobbies include playing music, traveling, hiking, and powerlifting. He hopes to complete a cross-country road trip that includes Alaska after completing his fellowship.


Nicky Cates

Jonathon “Nicky” Cates, MD

Medical Education: University of South Carolina Dr. Cates spent his residency with us at the University of Florida. His hobbies include soccer, bowling, golfing, road biking, hiking, cooking, and traveling. He also likes to work with his hands on projects such as woodworking and refinishing furniture.


Isaac Luria

Isaac Luria, MD

Medical Education: University of Florida Dr. Luria spent his residency with us at the University of Florida. He also obtained his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Medical Degree at UF. While earning his Bachelor’s in Physics, Dr. Luria worked as the Department of Anesthesiology’s simulation engineer where he worked with medical colleagues of all specialties and assisted with applied research projects.


Rose Schack

Rose Schack, DO

Medical Education: University of New England

Outside of medicine, Dr. Schack enjoys being outdoors and likes to hike in the spring and fall, go to the beach in the summer, and snowboard in the winter. At home, she enjoys taking time to relax, bake, and spend time with family and friends.


Andrew Schuldt

Andrew Schuldt, MD

Medical Education:  Michigan State University

Beyond medicine, Dr. Schuldt enjoys live music and has played guitar for more than 15 years. He also enjoys traveling, experiencing new cultures, and trying new foods.


Nicolas Segal

Nicolas Segal, MD, PhD

Residency Institution: University of New Mexico

Medical Education:  Pierre and Marie Curie Medical School

Dr. Segal has extensive research experience from his time in medical school in Paris, France, and throughout his emergency medicine residency program here in the United States. He is a member of many worldwide medical societies and speaks French and Spanish fluently.
