Associate Professor of Anesthesiology Rene Przkora, MD, PhD, was elected President of the Association of Pain Program Directors (APPD) at the American Society of Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA) in November. Dr. Przkora was chosen for this honor by his peer Pain Program Directors.
The Association of Pain Program Directors is part of the Society of Academic Associations of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine (SAAAPM). The mission of the APPD is to advance pain medicine and patient care through education, research, and professional development.
